Finland's Hautamaeki wins Saturday's World Cup ski flying

PLANICA, Slovenia -- Matti Hautamaeki of Finland won
Saturday's Ski Flying World Cup event.

Austria's Andreas Widhoelzl jumped farther than the Finn in both
rounds with leaps of 227.5 and 220 meters, compared to Hautamaeki's
223.5 and 219.5.

But Hautamaeki, who was in second place after the first round,
earned better style marks than Widhoelzl. He won with 436.6 points
-- just one-tenth of a point more than Widhoelzl.

It was Hautamaeki's sixth consecutive victory in the ski jumping
World Cup.

Norway's Bjoern Einar Romoeren, who had the longest jump of the
day (228.5 meters), finished third.
