Became the first man to win the opening three races of the
World Cup season in different disciplines and only the fifth man
to win in all five Alpine events since super-G was added to the
programme in 1983.

His aggressive, freewheeling style makes him exciting to
watch but also means he has been prone to mistakes in previous
seasons.

Has switched to Austrian skis this season and taken on the
serviceman who used to work for former overall World Cup
champion Stephan Eberharter.
