Louisiana-Lafayette 61, Arkansas State 49

DENTON, Texas -- A 21-point game by Louisiana-Lafayette's
Ashley Blanche helped knock the Arkansas State women out of the Sun
Belt Conference tournament Monday as the Lady Cajuns beat the Lady
Indians 61-49.

Louisiana-Lafayette led 31-19 at the half, and maintained that
margin through to the end of the game.

The Cajuns got double-digit scoring from three players in
addition to Blanche, but only one Lady Indian scored more than 10
points. Adrianne Davie led the ASU scoring effort with 16 points,
and also pulled down nine rebounds.
