Concordia-St. Paul 93, Wayne, Neb. 84

WAYNE, Neb. -- Brian Jamros made 6-of-9 shots from 3-point
range and scored 26 points to lead Concordia-St. Paul to a 93-84
victory over Wayne State in the first round of the NSIC tournament
Wednesday night.

The Golden Bears (18-10) won for the first time in seven visits
to Wayne.

Justin Vandenberg added 19 points, Kenneth Pointer 16 and Kyle
Marxhausen had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds for
Concordia-St. Paul.

Brett Watson led Wayne State (11-16) with 24 points. Dallas
Hodges had 20 points, Brett Cain 16 and Dusty Smith 10.

Concordia outrebounded the Wildcats 35-22.

The fifth-seeded Golden Bears advance to the semifinals at
top-seeded Winona State.
