Houston (32-24) at Chicago (29-24) 8:30 pm EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The All-Star break came at the wrong time
for the Houston Rockets, who visit the surging Chicago Bulls on
Tuesday night at the United Center.

Houston won its last eight games and 16 of 20 before the
All-Star break. However, the Rockets have lost all three of
their games since the break, averaging just 86 points.

In a 99-92 loss to the Utah Jazz on Sunday, Tracy McGrady led
five players in double figures with 23 points but Houston
allowed 57 second-half points and fell to 17-14 against Western
Conference teams.

The Rockets got a boost from new arrival Mike James, who was
acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks before Thursday's trade
deadline. In his first game for Houston, James scored 19 points
and had three steals.

The Bulls, meanwhile, have won six of their last seven and are a
season-high five games above .500. Chicago has won 11 of its
last 12 at home.

Veteran Antonio Davis keyed the latest win, a 94-90 triumph over
the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday. Davis scored a season-high
20 points on 7-of-9 shooting, leading five players in double
figures.

Part of Houston's surge before the break was a 105-92 win over
Chicago on February 9. McGrady and Yao Ming, the Rockets' two
All-Stars, combined for 45 points and the Bulls were held to
37-percent (35-of-95) shooting.
