Radford 91, N.C.-Ashville 75

RADFORD, Va. -- Radford took the lead at the beginning and
never looked back to win its last regular season game 91-75 over
N.C.-Ashville Saturday night.

Olumuyiwa Popoola led the Highlanders (12-15, 7-9 Big South
Athletic Conference) with 21 points. Radford led 44-27 at the half.

The Bulldogs (11-16, 8-8) made it competitive in the second
half, outscoring Radford 48-47, but could not overcome the big
first half deficit.

Oliver Holmes led N.C.-Ashville with 17 points. Bryan McCullough
had 14, and Omar Collington had 12.

Chris Oliver scored 15 points for the Highlanders. Brandon
Jeffers added 14, and Josh Fox came off the bench to add 13.
