William & Mary 57, Towson 50

TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- Laimis Kisielius' 3-pointer broke a 44-all
tie with 4:56 left in the game, and William & Mary dealt Towson its
11th straight loss 57-50 Saturday.

Kisielius had 15 points, and his 3-pointer -- the Tribe's first
of the game after eight misses -- ignited a decisive 9-3 run for
William & Mary (7-20, 3-16 Colonial Athletic Association), which
had lost eight of nine.

Lawrence Hamm had 11 points and 10 rebounds for Towson (5-22,
2-15 CAA). The Tigers, who have lost 14 of 15, shot 17-for-63 (27
percent) from the field.

Taylor Mokris led the Tribe with 17 points, and Corey Cofield
had 11 points and 13 rebounds.

The Tribe shot only 8-for-28 from the field in the first half
and didn't get a field goal until 7:14 into the game. Still, they
trailed only 27-25 at halftime.

Kisielius scored eight first-half points. His basket 4:13 before
intermission gave William & Mary a 21-20 lead, its first of the
game.

But Towson went up 25-22 on a pair of free throws by Sean
Raboin, Lafayette Dublin's baseline jumper and a Lawrence Hamm free
throw.
