Western Illinois 85, Centenary 68

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) -- Eulis Baez scored 24 points and grabbed
12 rebounds to lead Western Illinois to an 85-68 victory over
Centenary on Thursday night, snapping the Leathernecks' 28-game
road losing streak.

Western Illinois (7-11, 3-4 Mid-Con) led 41-32 at halftime and
took control of the game in the first four minutes of the second
half, building its lead to 53-39 after a lay-up and three-pointer
by Troy Okeson.

Fred Oguns added 15 points and T.J. gray 13 for Western
Illinois, which shot 56.9 percent from the field and outrebounded
Centenary 35-37.

Tyrone Hamilton scored 29 points for Centenary (2-17, 0-8),
including 18 in the second half. He hit four 3-pointers. Chad
Maclies added 17 points and 11 rebounds.
