PHOENIX -- Steve Nash was back in the starting lineup for
Phoenix on Friday night when the Suns met the San Antonio Spurs in
a matchup of the teams with the best records in the NBA.
The Suns' point guard, the NBA's leader in assists, had missed
the previous 3½ games. The first 2½ came after he bruised his left
thigh in the first half at Indiana. He twisted his back in practice
on Tuesday and that forced him out of Wednesday night's home loss
to Memphis.
Phoenix, 31-9, entered Friday night's contest against the Spurs
on a five-game losing streak.
