NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Josh Goodwin hit 17 points to lead
Belmont in a 71-61 overtime win at home over Lipscomb Friday night. Lipscomb (8-7, 3-5 ASUN) tied the game at 50 with 21 seconds
left in regulation on a lay-up by Charlie Jennye, who led the team
with 15 points. In overtime, Belmont (6-10, 5-3 ASUN) pulled away, thanks to the
sharp shooting of Josh Goodwin and Nick Otis, who added 12 points. Brian Collins led Belmont with 7 rebounds, while also adding 16
points. Lipscomb's Jason Guyette hit 3-8 3-pointers to score 11 points.
