LB Simoneau doesn't practice, doubtful

Philadelphia Eagles: With weakside linebacker Mark Simoneau
doubtful for Sunday's playoff game against Minnesota because of an
ankle injury, Keith Adams will start and former starter Nate Wayne
also will see action.
Coach Andy Reid said Friday that Simoneau did not practice and
will "struggle to make it to the game." Simoneau moved from
middle linebacker to the weakside spot midway through the season.
He was injured in Philadelphia's final regular-season game, against
Cincinnati.
Adams, in his third season, has been a standout on special
teams. He played well at linebacker in the season finale, getting
13 tackles.
"He's a high-energy player and has displayed that throughout
the year," Reid said.
Adams started the season opener against the Giants but mostly has been a special teamer.
"I know I can play linebacker and perform at a high level,"
Adams said, "and that's what I plan on doing Sunday."
Wide receiver Terrell Owens (injured leg) is the only other Eagles player expected to miss the NFC divisional playoff game.

St. Louis Rams: The Rams expect wide receiver Isaac Bruce, listed as questionable with groin and hand injuries on Friday, to play in Saturday's playoff game against the Falcons.

Bruce injured his groin in last week's victory over the Seattle Seahawks. He's been bothered by the hand injury for several weeks and was downgraded to questionable on Thursday.

"We'll see how he's doing," coach Mike Martz said Friday. "I think he'll be fine. We'll just check him out before the game to be sure.

"I'm not really concerned about it," he said.

Defensive end Tyoka Jackson was also listed as questionable with a high ankle sprain and will probably miss his second straight game.

New York Jets: Coach Herman Edwards said that although defensive end John Abraham made the trip with the team to Pittsburgh, he will not play against the Steelers on Saturday, ESPN's Ed Werder reported. Wide receiver Wayne Chrebet, who missed last week's wild-card win over the Chargers with a concussion, will play in Saturday's game.

New Orleans Saints: The Saints are raising the price of a season ticket by $10 for the 10 home games of the 2005 season.

Mid-priced season tickets will cost $62 a game or $620 for the season. The most expensive season tickets are $1,300 and the cheapest are $250.

The team said the price hike brings Saints season ticket prices to the NFL average.

Individual tickets start at $35 and the most expensive are $140.

The team's home opponents in 2005 will be Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Carolina, Chicago, Detroit, Buffalo, Miami and the Giants.
