Houston (16-17) at Denver (14-18) 9:00 pm EST

DENVER (Ticker) -- A pair of teams badly in need of a win meet
Sunday when the Denver Nuggets host the Houston Rockets.

The Nuggets made a strong third-quarter charge before falling to
the San Antonio Spurs, 99-90, on Saturday.

Kenyon Martin broke out of a slump with 26 points and Marcus
Camby returned from a two-day layoff to score 10 points and grab
15 rebounds.

Unlike Martin, Carmelo Anthony continued his slump with just
eight points on 4-of-15 shooting. In four games since returning
from a sprained ankle, Anthony is averaging only 17.5 points
while shooting just 32 percent (26-of-82) from the field.

Saturday's loss drops Denver to 1-3 under interim coach Michael
Cooper and to 2-11 in its last 13 games.

Following a 10-4 stretch, the Rockets have lost their last two,
including a 111-104 setback to the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.

Tracy McGrady scored 26 points, Yao Ming 25 and Bob Sura 20 for
Houston, which had 25 assists against just five turnovers.

Anthony struggled through another eight-point performance the
last time the two teams met November 27, but Andre Miller
finished with 20 points, seven rebounds and seven assists to
lead the Nuggets to an 82-76 win in Houston.

That win snapped Denver's six-game losing streak in Houston.
