Dartmouth 49, Harvard 46

HANOVER, N.H.(AP) -- Mike McLaren scored a game-high 15 points,
all of them in the first half, to lead Dartmouth over Harvard 49-46
Saturday.

He hit 4-of-5 3s and added six rebounds for the Big Green, (4-9,
1-1 Ivy) who snapped a six-game losing streak.

Harvard (5-9, 1-1) started the second half with a five-minute
12-2 run, battling back from Dartmouth's 31-22 halftime lead. Jason
Norman capped the rally with a layup, putting the Crimson up 34-33.

But Steve Callahan's 3 restored the Big Green lead, 47-44, with
6:39 left. Neither team scored for the next five minutes, and
Harvard never pulled closer than 2 before the buzzer.

Dartmouth's Mike Lang added the game's final points on two free
throws with 29.3 left.

David Gardner had 10 points for Dartmouth. Matt Stehle had 14
for Harvard, while Brian Cusworth added 13 rebounds.
