WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- The Seattle SuperSonics look to continue
their success on the road when they visit the surprising
Washington Wizards on Thursday.
The SuperSonics have the second-best road mark in the league at
12-3. They are one of two teams that have more road wins than
home victories.
Seattle had its six-game road winning streak snapped Tuesday by
the Orlando Magic, 105-87.
Ray Allen scored 30 in the loss at Orlando after getting 35 in a
win at Miami on Monday.
Rashard Lewis added 20 points and 11 assists in the loss against
Orlando, but the SuperSonics shot just 35 percent (28-of-80).
Coming off back-to-back wins, the Wizards are 17-13 for the
first time since the 1984-85 season.
Larry Hughes has scored at least 30 points in three of his last
four games - including 33 in a 112-88 victory over the New
Jersey Nets on Tuesday.
Seattle and Washington split two games each of the last three
years.
