CHAPEL HILL, North Carolina (Ticker) -- Fifth-ranked North
Carolina looks to extend its winning streak to 10 games when it
continues a six-game homestand against North Carolina-Wilmington
on Tuesday.
The Tar Heels are unbeaten since a season-opening loss to Santa
Clara. They are coming off a 93-65 triumph over Vermont on
December 21. Sean May scored 20 points in the win.
UNC-Wilmington, which is concluding a three-game road trip, has
been off since a 64-61 victory at Coastal Carolina on December
18.
Junior guard John Goldsberry and sophomore T.J. Carter each
scored 15 points to pace the Seahawks, who have a 1-23 record
all-time against the ACC.
North Carolina has won the only meeting between the schools.
