Sacred Heart (1-7) at No. 11 Connecticut (6-1) 7:00 pm EST

STORRS, Connecticut (Ticker) -- No. 11 Connecticut plays in the
Hartford Civic Center for the 250th time in school history when
it hosts Sacred Heart on Tuesday.

Excluding exhibition games, the Huskies have posted a 165-68
record at the Civic Center, including a 99-17 record against
non-conference foes.

UConn began a stretch of three games against intra-state
opponents December 22 with an 87-59 victory over Central
Connecticut. With the win, the Huskies have won 55 consecutive
games against opponents from Connecticut.

Charlie Villanueva and Josh Boone each scored 20 points and
shots a combined 19-of-27 from the floor for UConn, which shot
56 percent (38-of-68) while limiting Central Connecticut to just
33 percent (22-of-67).

Sophomore Marcus Williams dished out a school-record 16 assists
and leading scorer Rashard Anderson and Rudy Gay each chipped in
16 for the Huskies. Gay and Boone also contributed on the
defensive end, blocking four shots apiece.

Sacred Heart, which plays its second straight game against a
ranked opponent, was blown out at Washington on Thursday,
114-53.

The Pioneers committed 34 turnovers, which led to 55 points for
the Huskies.

Freshman Luke Granato hit four 3-pointers in the first half and
scored a season-high 15 points in the loss. Kibwe Trim added 11
points and Mike Parker dished out a career-high nine assists for
Sacred Heart, which has lost six straight.
