Two big announcements are were made on Wednesday.

First, defensive back Antonio Bass selected Michigan over Michigan State. The 6-foot-1 Bass is a superior athlete with great speed. He played QB in high school, but will be a free safety in college. Virginia Tech and Notre Dame were also on his short list before he decided on the Wolverines.

Next, talented wideout Derrick Williams shocked many by choosing Penn State over Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee and Florida. Williams, who made his announcement on ESPNEWS, is 6-1, 193 pounds with tremendous hands and the ability to change directions quickly and easily. He's an explosive difference-maker and instantly makes Penn State's offense better.
