FFL '04: Studying fantasy defenses

Here's how dominant the Steelers' defense has been this year: If they can maintain their current standing, they'll become just the sixth team in the past 20 years to lead the NFL in fewest points and fewest net yards allowed in the same season. Four of the last five -- 2002 Buccaneers, 2000 Ravens, 1996 Packers and 1985 Bears -- won the Super Bowl.

What's one of the primary reasons for their success? The 3-4 defense, something used often in the 1980s but not as much in the past decade.
