AVEIRO, Portugal, June 14 - Latvia striker Marians
Pahars remains doubtful for Tuesday's Euro 2004 Group D match
against the Czech Republic, coach Aleksandrs Starkovs said on
Monday.
"He is still preparing for tomorrow's match and the decision
will be taken tomorrow," Starkovs told reporters.
"It's naive to think three weeks' of preparations and he is
fully fit," he said.
Pahars, 27, has blinding pace but has hardly played in the
past two years because of injuries.
Latvia also play Germany and the Netherlands in Group D.
