San Francisco hopes to reverse their fortune on the road as they
conclude a six-game road trip at Cincinnati. After being swept
by the Mets at Shea Stadium, the Giants record away from SBC
Park sits at 4-8. San Francisco had won three straight games

Thursday after missing the previous three games with a sinus
infection. He went 0-for-3 with two intentional walks...3b
Edgardo Alfonzo was moved back to the hot corner Wednesday after
five consecutive starts at second base. Alfonzo committed two
errors at second Tuesday, leading to five unearned runs in San
Francisco' 6-2 loss. Rookie Brian Dallimore started at second
base in the final two games of the series. Starter Ray Durham is
eligible to come of the disabled list May 13.
