Memphis at San Antonio 8:00 pm EDT

SAN ANTONIO (Ticker) -- The San Antonio Spurs hope to produce
another dominating performance on Monday when they play Game Two
of their best-of-seven Western Conference first-round series
against the Memphis Grizzlies at the SBC Center.

In Game One on Saturday, the defending champion Spurs routed the
Grizzlies, who were making their postseason debut, 98-74.

Tim Duncan scored 26 points on 12-of-18 shooting to pace San
Antonio, which shot 54 percent (41-of-76) from the field.

Memphis shot a season-low 35 percent (23-of-66), committed 20
turnovers and spent too much time complaining to the referees.

"That's what I just talked to them about in the locker room,"
said Grizzlies coach Hubie Brown, who was coaching his first
playoff game in 20 years. "This is your first time in this type
of situation. You're playing the best defensive team in the
league, and you have to gain from this."

Bonzi Wells, the Memphis player with the most postseason
experience, scored 16 points. James Posey added 15 in his first
playoff game, but Pau Gasol made just 3-of-11 shots, Stromile
Swift was 1-of-6 and Mike Miller 0-of-5.

MEANINGFUL MATCHUP: Duncan vs. Gasol. Duncan controlled the
paint in Game One, producing 26 points, nine rebounds and two
blocks, and hassling Gasol, who had 14 points, into a miserable
shooting performance.

Robert Horry, 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting off the bench.

Grizzlies: Fs Wells and Posey; the whole team at the free-throw

WHO'S NOT:

Spurs: C Rasho Nesterovic, four points in 27 minutes.

Grizzlies: Gs Jason Williams (10 points on 4-of-11 shooting) and
Miller (one point); C Lorenzen Wright, six points in 23
minutes.

STREAKS: San Antonio, which entered the series on an 11-game
winning streak, has not lost since March 23 at Minnesota. The
Spurs have won 14 straight home games since losing to the
Grizzlies here on March 1.

SEASON SERIES & HISTORY: San Antonio has won 23 of its last 24
meetings with Memphis.

INJURIES:

Spurs: None.
