Soccer-Brindisi second coach to quit in Argentine championship

BUENOS AIRES, March 1 - Miguel Brindisi became the
second Argentine Clausura coaching casualty in a week when he
resigned from his job at Lanus on Monday after only three rounds
of the championship.

Brindisi, who was a midfielder in Argentina's 1974 World Cup
team in Germany, was insulted by fans after his team were beaten
4-0 by San Lorenzo at home on Saturday. They are 13th with three
points from three games.

Hector Veira quit 16th-placed Newell's Old Boys last week
and was replaced by Americo Gallego.
