Bobbie Use win Tropical Park Oaks; Kitten's Joy takes Tropical Park Derby

MIAMI -- Bobbie Use beat Cold Wynter by a neck in the
$100,000 Tropical Park Oaks at Calder Race Course on Thursday, and
Kitten's Joy won the Tropical Park Derby by 4{ lengths.

Bobbie Use, ridden by Eibar Coa, covered 1 1/16 miles in 1:42
and paid $8.40, $3.80 and $3.20.

Cold Wynter returned $4.40 and $3.40, and Last Waltz paid $5.20
to show in the race for 3-year-olds.

The New York-bred daughter of Not For Love, Bobbie Use has
earned $104,540 for owner Sanford Goldfarb.

Kitten's Joy, ridden by Jerry Bailey, won the Tropical Park
Derby in 1:46 4/5 and paid $9.20, $6.40 and $5.80.

Broadway View paid $26.60 and $14.80, and Soverign Honor
returned $16.20 to show in the race for 3-year-olds.

Bailey won his second straight Tropical Park Derby.

Bred and owned by Kenneth and Sarah Ramsey, Kitten's Joy is a
son of El Prado and has earned $140,115.
