Guerin cut on lip by skate

DALLAS -- Dallas right wing Bill Guerin was cut on the lower
lip when he was hit in the face by a skate in the Stars' game
against Phoenix on Monday night.

Phoenix's Daniel Cleary was flipped into the air in the first
period and as Cleary came down, his skate sliced Guerin's mouth.

A bleeding Guerin was taken to the locker room for stitches in
the locker room and returned in the second period, his face
protected by a visor. When the blood flow returned, he was back in
the locker room for more medical attention.

In the third period, a Stars spokesman said Guerin was done for
the night.
