NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Riding an eight-game unbeaten
streak, the Vancouver Canucks seek their fifth consecutive win
Wednesday night when they face the Nashville Predators at
Gaylord Entertainment Center.

Markus Naslund had a goal and two assists and Todd Bertuzzi
scored for the first time since opening night as the Canucks
rolled to a 5-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Monday.

Rookie Jason King tallied twice and Dan Cloutier turned aside 22
shots for Vancouver, which is 6-0-2 in its last eight games.
The Canucks had a franchise-record 14-game unbeaten streak
(10-0-4) from January 26-February 25.

Vancouver has scored first in each of its 12 games to match the
NHL record to start a season. The 1985-86 Philadelphia Flyers
also scored first in each of their first 12 contests.

Canucks center Brendan Morrison has four goals and six assists
on his eight-game points streak.

The Predators are 1-5-1 in their last seven games after winning
three of their first four contests.

On Sunday, Bill Guerin scored three times as the Dallas Stars
handed the Predators a 7-3 loss in the finale of a home-and-home
series. Defenseman Marek Zidlicky scored a power-play goal and
has three goals and eight assists.

Last season, Bertuzzi scored four goals as the Canucks won three
of the four meetings with the Predators. Vancouver leads the
all-time series, 13-7-1. The 6-3, 245-pound Bertuzzi has 10
goals and seven assists in 17 contests vs. Nashville.
