Active/Bench Roster Slots
Regardless of the scoring system and draft method chosen, rosters may have a maximum of 8 golfers. At any one time an owner may not have more than 4 golfers in his/her active roster, but may have as few as none active. Because you are required to have only 8 rounds of golf each tournament (out of a possible total of 16) it is possible that during some rounds you may choose to go with less than 4 active golfers. It is possible to have 6 golfers on your bench and 2 active, 7 golfers benched and 1 active and so forth. Your total score at the end of each tournament is the sum of all of your active golfers' score versus par over the course of the four rounds.

Clarification Example:

    Suppose you had Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk, Cameron Beckman and Joe Ogilvie as your active golfers for round one of the Masters. Tiger tears it up on Thursday and records a -6, while Furyk records a nice -2 and Beckman and Ogilivie blow up to the tune of +3 each. So, after round one you are a combined -2 for the tournament. You are now looking to set your lineup for the second round. No one on your bench has qualified for the Masters and you can't pick up anyone off waivers because the waiver pool locks during tournaments. You are not really interested in having Beckman and Ogilivie contribute to your overall score, so you make the decision to go with only two active golfers the rest of the way. Since you only need 8 rounds to qualify for the tournanent minimum and you already have 4 in the books, Woods and Furyk, by themselves, will fill the requirement during rounds 2, 3 and 4.

Roster Changes
Teams may change their active rosters for all four rounds of a tournament. Changes must be made by 11:59PM Pacific for the following day's round. The time stamp will come from the League Office, and may vary slightly from the actual time - owners should try to submit their moves a few minutes before the deadline. There is no limit to the number of active roster changes a team can make over the course of the season.

Postponed rounds
Each round's roster is set for the next day at 11:59pm PT, regardless of whether or not the round is actually played that day, according to these rules:

Wed 11:59pm PT ---> RND1 locked
Thur 11:59pm PT ---> RND2 locked
Fri 11:59pm PT ---> RND3 locked
Sat 11:59pm PT ---> RND4 locked

Undroppable Golfers
At the beginning of the season, the Commissioner's Office deems certain superstar goflers "undroppable." What this means is that they are ineligible to be dropped directly to waivers. The reason this is done is to prevent collusion, so that a weaker team (such as one that will most likely not make the playoffs as the end of the season draws near) cannot simply drop their star golfers to waivers in order to be picked up by higher-ranked teams in their league.

The pool of undroppable golfers is determined and managed solely at the discretion of the Commmisioner's Office, and will be updated as necessary in the event of an injury, decreased performance, etc. Note that the undroppable status does not effect your ability to move a golfer in and out of your lineup or to trade him.
