Newcastle United have confirmed the signing of teenage Australian defender Curtis Good from A-League side Melbourne Heart.
Good, who underwent a medical last week and will join up with his teammates when they return from their pre season tour of Portugal, has signed a six-year deal.
A Newcastle statement read: "The club wish to thank Melbourne Heart for its professionalism and cooperation throughout the transfer."
Good, 19, impressed on trail at Newcastle, who moved to make the £400,000 deal permanent.
The highly-rated defender, a graduate of the Australian Institute of Sport, made 25 appearances for the club in his debut A-League season, and has represented his country at under-19 level.
