Newcastle United have confirmed the signing of midfielder Gael Bigirimana from Coventry City.
Bigirimana, 18, has signed a five-year contract after Newcastle agreed an undisclosed fee with Coventry.
The Burundian-born youngster played 26 times in the Championship last season and won the divison's Apprentice of the Year award.
Bigirimana becomes Newcastle second signing of the summer following the arrival of Romain Amalfitano.
