Matt whoever you are. What? Not as good as we thought ? If you could write as good as he has driven you wouldn't be writing Blogs on the internet. Every driver now in NASCAR should thank their privet Jet for Jeff Gordon. He brought Nascar into the main stream and brought the TV networks into the fold. And sense he has not been the dominant driver the popularity of NASCAR has dropped.

You need to find a new type of work dude-your forecasting is for the birds-Gordon has proven he's one of the best drivers around on any track- this year, he's had terrible luck in getting taken out of races by accidents and stupid drivers in front of him. So Matt Willis in your opinion Jeff Gordon is not a good road course driver? His stats speak for themselves. And is it not true that there was oil on the race track at Watkins which caused Jeff Gordon to crash! There should have been a caution. Before you talk trash on Jeff Gordon and his "in your opinion not that great at rOad courses" do more research on him. Yes it's true he has had a few bad years but don't ever count him out. He is one of the best drivers. My advice to you would be don't speak on something you really don't know anything about

Your "public service" is saying, here it is everybody, I dont much care for Jeff Gordon. Look at the stats dude. 19 races, 9 top 10s, 2 poles, with a 14 placed average finish. LOL bad road course racer.

It's stating the obvious to say Jeff Gordon doesn't own road courses like he used to - this is not news. They've really struggled with set-ups and I don't think Gordon has been able to aggressively attack the corners like he would like - like how he was able to when he was so successful on road courses in the late 90s and early 2000s. Certainly the new COT has seemed to play a factor in that. I can't make any excuses for them. They haven't had any speed at the Glen in a long time. But you'd have to be a fool to count Jeff Gordon out or not think he can't get it done. His performance gains at Sonoma and in practice at the Glen this weekend is encouraging.
