Wow..,,well, it was fun there for a bit. The 55 was only 17 points out of a owners Chase spot, but it looks like that car can be penciled in for a high 20s finishing position. And I'm not even gonna go the "Michael-Waltrip-can't-drive-anymore" route. He's trying to drive a car he hasn't consistently been in for years, at a track he hasn't raced on since a 2005 Nationwide event. I get wanting ti race at your home track, but Mikey maybe should've put BV in the car this week.

atta boy jimmie! way to get off to a great start to the weekend. the best part is that JJ focuses most of his practcie time on running in race trim, so he must really have a fast car. look for the 48 to be out in front of the field for a good portion of the race

Jimmie's last pole was at Dover, but it was May of 2011, not September of 2010.

I'll give them benefit of the doubt on this one. The May 2011 Dover race had qualifying rained out. He started on Pole, but he didn't qualify there. If that makes any sense.

The rule changes really effected HMS... Must be cheating again.... (sarcasm). Michael Waltrip is an embarrassment to himself and his team. Takes a car that has qualified and ran up front all year and can't even beat the start and parkers. Time to hang it up from driving and broadcasting and stick to being an owner.
