Brad Keselowski flawless at the end

TALLADEGA, Ala. -- What do you say after you've made Matt Kenseth feel "stupid" and Kyle Busch think he "screwed up" in about 50 seconds, and then your car owner -- the most famous and diverse in the...

I know some people say that Kyle Busch is most like Dale Sr out there (and that causes a lot of debate). But I almost think Brad K is most like Dale Sr these days. This kid is gonna win titles and it is so refreshing because he wasn't hyped like Joey was!

How about we stop trying to compare everyone to Dale Sr.? Let Dale Sr. be what Dale Sr. was. Let Kyle and Brad and everyone else be who and what they are. Comparing *anyone* to Dale Sr. is unfair.

Hinton normally does a good job and I enjoy reading most of his articles. However, this one not so much. All he did was take all the post race interview quotes and tie them together into an article. A high school kid could have done just as good of a job. For an article published 6 hours after the completion of the race, this is kind of dissapointing. I guess for the people that didn't watch the race coverage to the end though, this is informative. I give Brad K props for figuring out that move at the end. Lucky for him they broke away from the pack enough to give him space to do that. Kenseth and Biffle were strong, but pulled away too soon and then Biffle lost momentum with BK beside him and Ragan behind him. Just with the history between those too drivers though, it really makes it funny that BK outsmarted Kyle like that at the end!

So, after another week of ESPN flooding the airwaves with "JUNIOR'S GONNA WIN THIS WEEK! No really--we mean it this time! We were just kidding the other 128 times we did the exact same story!" stories, Junior still didn't win. Let it go, ESPN. Maybe you should dedicate that time cultivating an audience for a racer who actually has a chance to win a race.

I get what is being said here, and I think the media makes it worse for Jr. Every week someone from ESPN ask him when he will win, how many times can he answer that question. He will win when he is going to win, give him a rest. Put some pressure on Joey Logano to win!

Jr has run in the top 10 all year long and actually has a chance to win every week. moron

First of all BK dumped a Busch brother so nobody cares. Hell, NASCAR should give him a bonus. Secondly, something has to be done about the water temp issue. When cars can't even race in normal packs without overheating, something is wrong. Except for a few wrecks this was a very ho-hum Dega race. Props to Danica too for standing her ground. About time somebody wrecked Hornish. That dude usually hits every car on the track, including the pace car.

Sorry but I will take Sam, they guy who once was given cell phones as sponsorship and had to sell them door to door. Even NASCAR and ESPN knows that Danica can't win anywhere but a place that ANYONE can grab a lucky win, Talladega or Daytona! Let's see, Sam has won what 22 times the races that Danica has? She only stomps and huffs and puffs because she knows that no one is going to take a swing at her. I hope she gets put head on in the wall by someone for no reason like she pulled on him!

If Hornish had a flat tire then he could have slowed down to avoid Danica. Instead he was on the gas the whole way to run her into the wall. Hornish was just making up an excuse to cover his butt.

and if you actually watched the race then you would know that hornish had a flat right front coming off of turn 4, which pushed him up toward the wall and collected sparkle pony.

You're an idiot. He ran her all the way up the track into the wall. This isn't Days of Thunder. He got what he deserved. Actually watch a race and don't comment off of sportscenter!

What is bad is the best car (17) needed someone to help him win and because his team mate couldn't he gets passed on the last lap. This paired racing is like ballroom dancing ... fun to watch for one song but after that it is a bore.

Drafting is not a new concept. If you're alone on a track like Dega or Daytona, you're slow. Kenseth said himself that he didn't do his job at the end of the race.

"Just a bump, just off-center of Busch's bumper, and he broke loose." Have to wonder if Ed Hinton actually watched the race? That wasn't "just off-center." It was clearly the right rear, and the bump occurred in a turn. No chance that Kurt Busch wasn't going to be run off the track.

It is amazing how easy it is to spot an opinion full of bias. BK did NOT intentionally dump Kurt. BK was pushing Kurt, Kurt tried to make a move, BK was late reacting, hit his bumper "just off-center" and that was all it took!

>
ODU_Cowboy
And if it *was* intentional ... why apologize repeatedly for it?

Exactly right. Kurt was just as much to blame as Brad was.

They should start black flagging for that kind of move. Even I know not to hit someone in the left rear like BK did and I just watch the races.

I wouldn't trust Brad bump drafting me. Today wasn't the first time he's dumped somebody. I can't believe this story has so little comments. This was the first race of the year that was a must see.

Wow TD, you act like BK is the only driver to ever have accidently spun someone out during a plate race. The lack of comments has to do with this being a poorly written article that was published late in the day. The race recap has over 700 comments.

"This was the first race of the year that was a must see." Why ... because of all the wrecks? It is possible to enjoy racing without wrecks and caution flags.

If the top ten drivers all finish within a second of each other...why do we need to have all these laps? Can't we just cut it to ten and save some gas in this time of crisis?
>
andrewjohn329
Ok, they can cut NASCAR to just 10 laps as soon as all the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS, WNBA, and NCAA teams and fans find more eco-friendly modes of tranportation and ways to power their stadiums/arenas!
