The Montreal Canadiens re-signed left winger Travis Moen to a four-year deal, the team announced Friday.

Moen, who would have become an unrestricted free agent on Sunday, will earn an average of $1.85 million per season, according to a source.

Moen, an eight-year veteran, had nine goals and seven assists last season, his third in Montreal.
