Isles' Jack Capuano returns in final minute after taking puck to face

TAMPA, Fla. -- New York Islanders coach Jack Capuano returned to the bench in the final minute of Wednesday night's 5-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning after being hit in the face with an errant puck earlier in the third period.

After the puck hit him, Capuano dropped to his knees and was quickly tended to by a team trainer in the opener of the teams' second-round Eastern Conference series. He was taken to the locker room with a towel on his face.

Assistant coach Doug Weight took over as bench boss in Capuano's absence.
