VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- The Vancouver Canucks signed North Dakota defenseman Troy Stecher on Wednesday.
Stecher, a 22-year-old from Richmond, British Columbia, helped North Dakota win the NCAA title last week. He had eight goals and 29 assists in 43 games for the Fighting Hawks this season.
