Penguins' Evgeni Malkin out again Monday with lower-body injury

Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin will miss a third straight game Monday because of a lower-body injury, coach Mike Sullivan told reporters.

Malkin, who ranks among the league leaders with 23 goals and 49 points, did not travel with the team for games against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday and at the Florida Panthers on Saturday because of the injury, which Sullivan described as "nagging" last week.

On Monday, Malkin will miss a home game against the Anaheim Ducks.

Before Friday, Malkin hadn't missed a game this season despite the injury.
