Malcolm Subban hospitalized after being hit in throat by puck

Boston Bruins goalie prospect Malcolm Subban was admitted to a hospital after he took a puck to the throat during warm-ups Saturday night in Portland, Maine.

As of late Saturday night, there was no definitive diagnosis for the injury, but the Providence Bruins goalie will remain hospitalized overnight for precautionary reasons, per a team source.

He was slated to start for the P-Bruins before the injury. After defeating the Portland Pirates 3-1, Providence returned home, while Subban remained in a Portland-area hospital.
