Penguins captain Sidney Crosby to play vs. Wild

PITTSBURGH -- Penguins captain Sidney Crosby will play Saturday after missing his first game of the season earlier in the week.

Coach Mike Sullivan said Crosby and Kris Letang would both be in the lineup against the Minnesota Wild.

Crosby has been dealing with a lower-body injury suffered in a loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Dec. 19 and did not play Monday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Letang has not played since Dec. 9, missing six games with an undisclosed ailment.

Crosby, a two-time Hart Trophy winner, has six goals and 16 assists in 32 games for Pittsburgh, which has dropped seven of its past nine games and is 1-4 under Sullivan.
