Sidney Crosby at the worlds in pictures

Pittsburgh Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins went out in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, falling to the New York Rangers. Still feeling good and not wanting to hang the blades up for the summer, Stanley Cup champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist Sidney Crosby headed over to the Czech Republic for the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in an attempt to become the eighth Canadian member of the Triple Gold Club. And wouldn't you know it, we have photographic evidence.

Through his first five games of the tournament, Crosby had three goals and three assists, which was good for a tie for 16th in scoring.
