Martin St. Louis out 10-14 days

NEW YORK -- Injuries haven't slowed the New York Rangers yet, but now they have another one to deal with.

The Rangers announced Monday that Martin St. Louis will be out for 10 to 14 days with the injury that forced him from Sunday's 2-1 victory over the Florida Panthers.

St. Louis appeared to hurt his right knee on the third-period play, but the Rangers announced simply that he has a lower-body injury.

St. Louis is second on the team with 20 goals, although he has scored only two in the last 10 games.

The Rangers top the NHL with 95 points after going 17-2-3 in their last 22 games. They have continued to win despite missing goaltender Henrik Lundqvist, who has been out since Feb. 2 with a vascular injury in his neck. The Rangers are also without defenseman Kevin Klein, who will miss three to four weeks after he was hit on the arm by a shot.

The Rangers host the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night. St. Louis also will miss Sunday's meeting with the Anaheim Ducks, who lead the Western Conference with 95 points.
