UNIONDALE, N.Y. -- Kyle Okposo and Lubomir Visnovsky scored 51 seconds apart in the third period, and the New York Islanders beat Chicago 3-2 on Saturday night to snap the Blackhawks' NHL-best, eight-game winning streak.
After Patrick Kane gave the Blackhawks a 2-1 lead 3:46 into the third with an end-to-end rush with a backhanded finish, Okposo tied it with a power-play goal off a rebound of John Tavares' shot with 9:50 left.
Visnovsky then skated across the Chicago zone and beat backup goalie Scott Darling to put New York in front at 11:01.
Cal Clutterbuck also scored, and Jaroslav Halak made 23 saves to stop the Islanders' three-game losing streak. New York allowed 17 goals during the skid.
DUCKS 4, JETS 1
WINNIPEG, Manitoba -- Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and an assist, and the Ducks earned their seventh consecutive win.
Jakob Silfverberg, Nate Thompson and Andrew Cogliano also scored for Anaheim, which also won in Winnipeg last Sunday. Frederik Andersen, playing on back-to-back nights after a win in Edmonton on Friday, made 27 saves.
Getzlaf ripped a shot from the high slot with Tim Jackman screening Winnipeg goalie Michael Hutchinson, lifting the Ducks to a 2-1 lead at 8:29 of the second.
Bryan Little scored for Winnipeg, which absorbed its first regulation loss in nine games.
BLUE JACKETS 4, PENGUINS 3, SO
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Cam Atkinson and Ryan Johansen scored in the shootout to lift Columbus to its sixth straight win.
Sergei Bobrovsky had 33 saves through overtime, and then stopped Evgeni Malkin and Brandon Sutter in the tiebreaker to preserve the win.
Nick Foligno, Boone Jenner and Jack Johnson scored in regulation for the Blue Jackets. Jenner's score came on a penalty shot with 7:55 remaining in the third.
Kris Letang had two goals -- including the tying score with 11 seconds remaining in regulation -- and Blake Comeau also scored for the Penguins, and Thomas Greiss finished with 24 saves.
Pittsburgh was without star Sidney Crosby for a second straight game because of swelling to the right side of his face, which team officials said doesn't appear to be mumps as they await results from additional tests.
MAPLE LEAFS 4, RED WINGS 1
TORONTO -- Richard Panik scored the go-ahead goal and Jonathan Bernier stopped 27 shots to help the Maple Leafs beat the Red Wings for the second time in four days.
James van Riemsdyk, Morgan Rielly and Nazem Kadri also scored for Toronto, which won 2-1 in a shootout at Detroit on Wednesday night despite being outshot 42-19 in that game.
The Maple Leafs have won four straight and are 8-1-1 since a 9-2 home loss to Nashville on Nov. 18.
Niklas Kronwall scored for Detroit and Petr Mrazek had 37 saves. The Red Wings have lost three straight, including a shootout defeat against Florida on Friday night.
SENATORS 3, BRUINS 2, SO
BOSTON -- Dave Cameron earned his first win as an NHL coach when Bobby Ryan and Mikka Zibanjad scored in a shootout for Ottawa.
Cameron took over after Paul MacLean was fired Monday. The Senators lost to Los Angeles 5-3 Thursday night in Cameron's debut.
Zibanjad also scored in regulation as Ottawa sent the Bruins to their fifth loss in six games.
Both teams had chances in overtime. Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask made a pad save on Erik Karlsson and then foiled Ryan's breakaway, and Ottawa goaltender Robin Lehner gloved Dougie Hamilton's high drive.
The Bruins carried a 2-1 lead into the third period but Ottawa tied it with 15:43 left when David Legwand put home Kyle Turris' rebound while Bruins captain Zdeno Chara was in the penalty box.
CAPITALS 4, LIGHTNING 2
WASHINGTON -- Nicklas Backstrom had his first career regular-season hat trick, and Washington's Braden Holtby made 26 saves.
Backstrom scored two second-period goals and completed the natural hat trick early in the third.
Alex Ovechkin and Tom Wilson had two assists apiece for Washington, which has won four of five.
Tyler Johnson and Matthew Carle scored late in the third period to pull the Lightning within one, but Eric Fehr's empty-netter sealed it.
It was Washington's second win this week against the Lightning, following Tuesday's 5-3 victory at Tampa Bay.
WILD 4, COYOTES 3, SO
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Zach Parise had a tying power-play goal late in the third period, and then scored in the shootout to help short-handed Minnesota get the road win.
Mikko Koivu's shot into the roof of the net in the third round of the shootout won it, after Niklas Backstrom stopped Tobias Rieder's attempt.
Arizona has lost five in a row and eight of nine. It was the Coyotes' ninth consecutive home loss, extending the franchise record.
Nino Niederreiter had a power-play goal in the first period and Jason Zucker also scored in regulation for the Wild, who played with five defensemen.
Lauri Korpikoski, Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Antoine Vermette scored for the Coyotes, and Devan Dubnyk stopped 32 shots.
STARS 4, DEVILS 3
DALLAS -- Trevor Daley and Shawn Horcoff scored in the second period to help Dallas recover after giving up a two-goal lead.
Tyler Seguin and Jason Spezza each had a goal and an assist in the first period for the Stars, and Kari Lehtonen finished with 28 saves.
Jon Merrill, Eric Gelinas and Scott Gomez scored for the Devils and Cory Schneider stopped 29 of the 33 shots he faced through two periods. Keith Kinkaid replaced Schneider to start the third and finished with three saves.
FLYERS 5, HURRICANES 1
PHILADELPHIA -- Wayne Simmonds had a goal and an assist, leading Philadelphia to the victory.
Scott Laughton got his first career goal and Sean Couturier, Jakub Voracek and Michael Raffl also scored for Philadelphia (11-13-5), which improved to 3-0-2 in its last five.
Eric Staal scored for Carolina (8-18-3), which dropped its fifth straight game. The Hurricanes have scored one goal in each of their last five contests.
Carolina goalie Anton Khudobin dropped to 0-7-2 this season. The backup made 18 saves.
Steve Mason made 25 saves for Philadelphia.

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Nikita Zadorov scored 29 seconds into overtime to lift Buffalo to the victory.
Brian Gionta, Marcus Foligno and Cody Hodgson also scored for Buffalo, which has won three in a row and nine of 12.
Jussi Jokinen, Sean Bergenheim and Jimmy Hayes scored for Florida.
Jhonas Enroth made 25 saves for Buffalo, while Al Montoya stopped 28 shots for Florida in relief of starting goaltender Roberto Luongo.
