David Krejci back in lineup

NHL, Boston Bruins

BOSTON -- After missing the first three games of the regular season due to an undisclosed injury, Bruins forward David Krejci returned to the lineup Monday afternoon against the Colorado Avalanche at TD Garden.

Krejci, who suffered the injury in the final preseason game, was placed on injured reserve.

He began skating again Saturday and participated in the team's full practice Sunday.

With Krejci back, it's likely that coach Claude Julien will reunite the top-line center with Milan Lucic. Seth Griffith, who was recalled Sunday from Providence, will likely start on the right wing with Krejci and Lucic.

Without Krejci in the mix, the Bruins went 1-for-10 on the power play.
