David Krejci put on injured reserve

BOSTON -- The Boston Bruins have placed top-line center David Krejci on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury he suffered in the second period of Saturday's final preseason game against the Detroit Red Wings at TD Garden.

Per the collective bargaining agreement, Krejci will miss a minimum of seven days, beginning from when he suffered the injury on Saturday.

As expected, the team also placed Marc Savard on long-term injured reserve.

In addition, Gregory Campbell and Anthony Camara have been placed on the non-roster injured reserve, which means both players failed the initial physical and will not be on the club's active roster.

The Bruins also assigned forwards Jordan Caron and David Pastrnak to Providence of the AHL, and recalled forward Brian Ferlin and goaltender Malcolm Subban. Both are eligible for the season opener against the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday.
