Patrik Berglund stays with Blues

Forward Patrik Berglund has signed a three-year extension with the St. Louis Blues, the team announced Friday.

The 26-year-old Berglund, who scored 14 goals and had 32 points last season, will earn an average of $3.7 million per season, a source told ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun.

Berglund, a former first-round draft pick, has played his entire career in St. Louis, scoring 106 goals and 114 assists in his six seasons. He also scored two goals and had an assist as a member of the Swedish national team that won the silver medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
