You're nuts -- it will never happen ;)...

Parise will be a Devil.....he wants to stay, the club will be a contender for another 20 years, they just went to the finals, and he will get a contract similar to Kovy's. He'd rather win than make an extra million or 2 on some other club not run by Lou 337 Days ago

Only reason I even cared about the devils this year was Parise. I live right next to xcel energy center in minnesota so my hope is he either stays in NJ or goes to Minny. I would lose all hope for life if he went to the red wings, flyers, or rangers. as long as he goes somewhere besides those three, i will be ok. haha 339 Days ago

Parise's going to look great with the winged wheel on his chest... GO WINGS! 339 Days ago

As a Devils fan I really feel like he's going to NJ or Detroit. Minnesota, I just don't see it happening unless he's lying and he is only interested in money. Minnesota has a good prospect group but I really don't think Zach wants to go play under Mike Yeo and be part of what is currently a rebuild. There's no way of actually knowing but logic would say if he's going to make his money anywhere, why wouldn't he go to a team who's competitive right now? And he said last year a big concern was having a consistent head coach which he would certainly get in detroit and seemingly get in NJ (too soon to tell long term). 339 Days ago

Yea, who wants a great gritty, 2 way player with excellent leadership and 30+ goals every season in the last 6 except the one he missed entirely bc of injury.

Devils are in deep doodoo. Gonna be hard to pay for either Parise or Marty. Oopsie! 340 Days ago

now post the link in which that report (yet again another ny post based report) was shot down again from all sides (NHL, devils, and the journalist responded saying he was "misinformed") that states the devils are not going to be owned by the NHL and there isnt a fear that they will declare bankruptcy
ooopsie, maybe look at actual reporting rather then the ny post (or anyone who bases their info from the post)

forgot to mention, you would think that they would have some quotes in your link to back their info up, or anything other then speculation
funny fact: throughout the season the NHL threw out over 5 reports from the post because of false reports where they couldnt back their info up, they contradicted their own reports within 24hours and kept changing their story, pretty much the ny post isnt a place to go for reliable info
i couldnt stop laughing where they said the league has imposed an internal cap for the devils and they are over it and will be forced to trade parise, a little less than 2hours later the devils traded for poni which was the 3rd time they ADDED salary and as you can tell the devils never traded away salary (every move added more $) 340 Days ago

dumb red wing fans seem to forget we had the best record in the nhl right before the all star game till injuries demolished our season.. with zach here and possibly suter and one or two more decent free agents should be a title contender 340 Days ago

Ever heard of Norman Green? He once said, "Only an idiot could lose money on hockey in Minnesota." well he is the reason why the north stars moved. Most hated man in Minnesota 340 Days ago

Minnesota's uniform are cool, oh that was the North Stars. I forgot they lost hockey in Minn. b/c they couldn't support a team. BTW the Wings in those classic jersey's have been in the playoffs b4 you quit on your team and haven't missed since. 340 Days ago

Good..... The Rangers (as do the devils) need a big man who can score, not the small son of an old Islander (that's right there's some sour old grapes here as well... all the way back from 1975) 340 Days ago

doesn't matter what he says now. How many athletes in every sport have said they want to stay where they are and when someone else offers more money they move on. He will be like every other greedy athlete in every other sport and go where the money is even if that means going to the rangers 340 Days ago
