Garden is a giant dump filled with morons. The only thing intimidating is you have to go crazy having to hear those horrifying Linda Cohn-Hell's Kitchen accents all night.

Keep skipping over the Blues ESPN. To do a top 5 and not have the team with (I believe) the 2nd best home record in the NHL? I don't know why I even read these articles anymore...

Everyone knows the Phone Booth is the loudest arena in hockey. Everyone.

Seriously I'm a Flyers fan and the Wells Fargo center is crazy during the playoffs, but as a hockey fan, I would love to be in the Tank for a playoff game.

WHAT IS THE TOUGHEST ROAD ARENA TO PLAY IN? HP Pavilion, Sharks 19% Bell Centre, Canadiens 14% United Center, Blackhawks 13% Wachovia Center, Flyers 12% Joe Louis Arena, Red Wings 10%

In other words Flyers should be switched with the Blackhawks on this list. I would put the Caps on the list over Nashville because they are extremely loud, & into these games.

Lauren Hart's God Bless America clowns any other song before games. When they show her, & the late great Kate Smith on the screen, it sends chills up spines, & the WFC into an orange frenzy.

For those of you doubting the noise/atmosphere at Bridgestone and around the arena during the playoffs, i'd love to invite you to a game. There's a reason Nashville is being named "Hockeytown South" by multiple people. Fans in Nashville are finally starting to pay attention to hockey and let me tell you...it's catching on...quick. watch out

I saw one game played in Nashville this year, against the wings. When the score was 0-0, the crowd was so dead you cut hear the skates cutting up the ice. Then ways later in the game you could hear wings chants over any Nashville cheering. I think they are dubbing it Hockey Town south because it is a home away from home for the wings.

So after going 2 - 0 in the playoffs at the Joe, what do the Preds get to call it? I believe the Preds have a three game winning streak in Detroit. Ask your Wings what it was like in Game 5.

LOATHE the Rangers, but they need to be in this conversion. Hard to judge top 5 though, because any arena is loud at this time of year.

Bruins fan, but have to put MSG and Bell, Not many arenas can compare to the original six, there is just too much history to compete with, Toronto is also AMAZING, never been to Philly or Nashville though so I shouldn't talk too much....

As a Rangers fan, I certainly have to laugh at #2 on this list. LOL. I've seen some good brawls at Rangers-Flyers games though...

If you want to talk about what has Nashville done in the playoffs, what exactly has New York done in the playoffs? Prior to 2006, they hadn't made the playoffs since 97. And since returning to the playoffs, they haven't made it past the second round, and blew a 3-1 series lead to the Caps in 2009.
