Bucs mum on Josh Freeman status

NFL, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

TAMPA, Fla. -- A day after Josh Freeman said in an ESPN interview that his best-case scenario might be a trade out of Tampa, Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano wouldn't say if Freeman would be the No. 2 or No. 3 quarterback for Sunday's game against Arizona.

Earlier in the week, when announcing that rookie Mike Glennon would start, Schiano said Freeman would be the backup.

But he stopped well short of saying that again Friday.

"I just feel like this has been a focus all week,'' Schiano said. "I'm not going to go there. Ninety minutes before the game I'm going to name who our 46 active players are.

"I'm locked in now and our team is locked in. I'm done discussing all that other stuff.''

Veteran Dan Orlovsky has been the Bucs' third quarterback so far this season.
