Jacoby Jones to be on 'DWTS'

Jacoby Jones danced his way around the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII earlier this month.

The Baltimore Ravens' wide receiver/kick return specialist will look to do the same against the cast of "Dancing With the Stars" beginning next month.

Jones will be on the 16th season of the ABC dancing competition, which announced the news Sunday night. The rest of the cast was unveiled Tuesday on "Good Morning America." Other athletes included in the cast are figure skating great Dorothy Hamill, gymnast Aly Raisman and boxer Victor Ortiz.

The show premieres March 18.

Jones, 28, starred for the Ravens in their Super Bowl victory against the 49ers, returning a kickoff a playoff-record 108 yards for a touchdown and grabbing a 56-yard TD reception in which he dived for the ball, got up, spun around a defender and raced into the end zone untouched.

A first team All-Pro this past season as a kick returner, Jones previously expressed interest in competing on "Dancing With the Stars." Asked on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" earlier this month if he wanted to be on the cast, Jones said, "Oh yes sir ... I'll get it done. I'll get it done, baby."

Jones won't be the first NFL player to take part in the hit ABC show. Past winners include former Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith, former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward and former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver.
