Jags, Darrell Bevell to talk

The Jacksonville Jaguars requested and received permission to interview Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell for their head-coaching vacancy, a league source said.

Bevell also will receive a second interview for the Chicago Bears' opening, according to sources. That interview reportedly will take place Tuesday.

Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, meanwhile, is scheduled to interview for the Jaguars' job Wednesday. He is scheduled to interview for a second time with the Philadelphia Eagles for their head-coaching job Tuesday.

St. Louis Rams offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer was scheduled to interview for the Jaguars' position Tuesday, league sources said.

Current Jaguars defensive coordinator Mel Tucker interviewed for the job Monday.

New general manager David Caldwell is leading the search for the Jaguars' next coach after firing Mike Mularkey last week.

Tucker, who was the Jaguars' interim coach in 2011 after Jack Del Rio was fired, and Schottenheimer both interviewed for the Jacksonville job last offseason as well. Former general manager Gene Smith ultimately hired Mularkey.

Another candidate for the Jaguars' job is 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman. Roman and Caldwell were college roommates and teammates at John Carroll University.
