Giants' key players active vs. Eagles

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants will attempt to sneak into the playoffs with many of their injured big names active and available to play against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Defensive end Justin Tuck, wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, safety Kenny Phillips and cornerback Prince Amukamara are active.

Tuck (shoulder), Nicks (knee) and Phillips (knee) were listed as questionable for the game. Amukamara (hamstring) was deemed doubtful for the game on Friday but the cornerback is available.

The Giants need Amukamara with rookie cornerback Jayron Hosley (quadriceps) out for the game. Hosley and defensive tackle Chris Canty (knee) are inactive. Rocky Bernard will start for Canty, who injured his MCL in Baltimore last week.

Joining those two on the inactive list are wide receiver Ramses Barden, safety Tyler Sash, running back Ryan Torain, defensive end Adewale Ojomo and tight end Adrien Robinson.

Center David Baas (hip/shoulder), guard Chris Snee (hip) and running back Ahmad Bradshaw (knee/foot) are all playing as expected.
