Ray Lewis added to active roster

The Baltimore Ravens added Ray Lewis to their active roster Wednesday, although coach John Harbaugh has said the veteran linebacker won't play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Wednesday was the deadline for the Ravens to add Lewis to the active roster from the injured reserve/designated to return list. By rule, teams have 21 days after activating players from the list to add them to the active roster. Lewis was activated on Dec. 5.

After Sunday's game, Lewis will have missed 10 games after tearing his triceps on Oct. 14. The Ravens are 5-4 without Lewis.
